This video for the song ‘So Far Away‘ was created by A Place to Bury Strangers band member Oliver Ackermann using a collage of his own photos. Using the iPhone application Hipstamatic, Ackermann got the idea after importing some photos from his phone to his computer & watching them flash in quick succession across the screen.

My favorite thing I heard all year would have to be William Basinski’s 2004 The Disintegration Loops. Yes track 1 is over 60 minutes long. Yes. As soon as it was over I restarted it.
